Dining

The Clothiers Arms serves traditional English pub food in multiple dining areas including the restaurant, bar, and garden. Guests can choose from a large range of starters, main courses, and desserts prepared by experienced chefs. Notable is the selection of seasonal ales from the nearby Stroud Brewery available on tap.

Fair stay overall

friendly staff helpful staff excellent meal lumpy mattress thin walls old pillows
I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal I had was excellent. My room was comfortable with a good en suite.
The mattress felt lumpy and the pillows seemed old. I found the walls thin, I could hear a debate next door. I also heard upstairs activity late at night.

tasty breakfast town center strong bleach automatic light
i really enjoyed the tasty breakfast. the staff were friendly and helpful, a good experience. it was very close to the town center, and i could easily walk there.
the room smelt strongly of bleach, and there was an automatic light in the hallway outside of the room. it would shine a bright light through the gap under the door all through the night, not ideal for light sleepers.
